Initially, the instrument was 87-stringed (three 4-string and fifteen 5-string choirs). Single sound posts are mounted under the supports between the sound board and the back at full width of the body. The instrument is unusually heavy due to excessive thickness of its parts (for example, the back is 22 mm thick)
