Judging by the number of available tuning pegs, the instrument was supposed to be 45-stringed, and judging by the number of balance pins, it was supposed to be 42-stringed (strings were never attached to 3 bass tuning pegs). Single sound posts are set under the supports between the sound board and the back at full width of the body. There are 2 holes with a diameter of 18 mm in the lower side bar
